Yeah this is going to be good but I probably won’t be able to play this till tomorrow due to download size. It’s a bit annoying considering we had a big download last week too because of the Blackwood expansion launch.
On the plus side at least it’s downloading for Xbox folks. It’s seem there is an issue for folks on the PS5 being unable to download their version of this. Devs are investigating apparently

I’ve deliberately held off playing until this upgrade landed – it seemed pointless downloading the game twice. Gonna download it overnight and give it a go tomorrow. I’ve heard though that some people find the gameplay somewhat “dated” and “stiff”. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

@Nightcrawler71 Is it your first time on ESO in general? I don’t think the gameplay is “dated” or “stiff” but some folks have issues with the combat. I also didnt really like it at first but learned to kinda love it now tho

@Vepra I thought the combat was a bit janky to begin with too but like you it’s just something you get used to after playing a while. Don’t give it any thought anymore and it just feel natural for the game.
@Nightcrawler71 It did take me a while to get used to combat in ESO and there was some frustrations to begin with but it’s worth sticking with as there is some fantastic content, stories, dungeons & raids to enjoy.

@BBB @Vepra Thanks, will give it a go tomorrow

@Nightcrawler71 I just jumped in about two weeks ago. It’s a really well done MMO because you can solo most things. Combat is actually more intuitive then other point and click MMO’s. Enjoy!

I just play it mostly as a single player game, even playing alone this game is huge and a lot of fun

@Nightcrawler71 also if you have a keyboard that you can hook up to your xbox, it will make your expirience better. While the game can be played solo and I mostly play it that way, its nice to have a keyboard every time you need help with a world boss. The community in the game is really helpful

I’ve never played ESO but I am curious to try it now that the Series X upgrade has landed.
Does this game feel anything like other Elder Scrolls games when played solo?

“Smart Delivery is a marketing term.”
11BBBTue 15th Jun 2021
@Senua PS5 has smart delivery ? That is a PS5 only problem in those tweets.
The Xbox Series X/S download has been deployed and seems to be going without any hitches. I just have to be patient while my potato internet downloads it (nearly 5 hours in and only 57% done.)
Still I have Yakuza Like a Dragon to keep me entertained in the meantime so not all bad.
